American Idol Latest: Chandler Apple store hosts Idol workshop
The Apple store at Chandler Fashion Center, along with other Valley Apple stores, will hold free workshops Sunday and Monday for budding songwriters interested in entering American Idol’s songwriting competition.
Participants will get tips on what makes a memorable song as well as instruction using Apple’s GarageBand music creation software. The one-hour workshop will include song structure, chord progression and crafting memorable lyrics.
The winner of the American Idol songwriting composition will have their song performed by this season’s winning contestant.
