American Idol top 10 finalists Sing performance show
Phoenix native Brooke White is among the top 10 finalists this season on American Idol, it was revealed during Wednesday’s results episode.
White had a bumpy week on the show. On Tuesday, her rendition of Here Comes the Sun was greeted with poor reviews from all three judges. Even Simon Cowell, who has been consistently supportive of White, called the performance “terrible.”
Grabbing one of the coveted top 10 spots means that White, who was raised in Mesa, will be among the performers who appear on the national tour.
Raspy-voiced Amanda Overmyer received the fewest votes from viewers and left the program.
After two solid weeks of The Beatles (one good and one bad), the American Idol finalists are finally moving on to a new theme. The Beatles theme resulted in two controversial eliminations as David Hernandez was sent home the first week and Amanda Overmyer was sent home the second week.
The remaining American Idol finalists are Brooke White, Carly Smithson, Chikezie, David Archuleta, David Cook, Jason Castro, Kristy Lee Cook, Michael Johns, Ramiele Malubay and Syesha Mercado. These top 10 finalists will perform songs from the year that they were born.
The American Idol top 10 finalists performance show will air on Tuesday, March 25 from 8 PM to 9:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed on FOX.
