Iflove News Agency: A jilted Hong Kong boyfriend who posted video clips of his ex-lover having sex with him on the internet was sentenced Monday to two months in jail. Lee Wing-fung, 29, uploaded nude photos and video clips on Valentine’s Day last year in an act of revenge after his former girlfriend left him for a wealthier boyfriend.
Lee was originally sentenced to 240 hours community service last September after admitting criminal intimation and publishing indecent material.
But the prosecution complained the sentence was too light and, at a review hearing Monday, the magistrate upgraded the sentence to two months in jail.
Prosecutors argued that Lee had threatened the woman in an attempt to get her to go back to him, and then published her name and the area where she worked online with the video clips.
At the earlier hearing the defence claimed Lee resorted to the action because he was devastated when his girlfriend ended their three-year relationship.
The case arose as Hong Kong government was caught up in a review of the laws governing obscene and indecent material in the hi-tech city of 6.9 million.
