Answering in an interview of a magazine on the journey to Beijing on February 25, actor Nicholas affirmed that the relationship between his wife and he was unchangeable. However, everyone will easily notice that his ring is not on his finger anymore. Therefore, the public opinion thinks that their marriage is having a sign of “turning on the red light.”
During these two days, Hong Kong magazines brought up a news that the reason made Nic felt hurtful that didn’t come from the “special” pictures of his wife. It was that his wife lied to him.
According to a source, before marrying in 2006, Nic has asked Cecil that did she have any relationship with Edison? At that time, Cecil denied and said that she didn’t have any relationship with Edison.
After noticing the relationship between them, Nic felt that Cecil betrayed and lied to him. Although his self-respectful was hurt, Nic didn’t show any significant decision to his wife because of their son’s ties. Furthermore, public opinion will support him if he decides to leave his wife.

It’s a tough thing. Since Edison and Nic were friends and schoolmates, and I heard they weren’t on good terms after they entered the entertainment industry. Don’t know how much of that is entirely true. But I’m sure Ceci lied about her “relationship” with Edison because she didn’t want Nic to know about it. Although it is understandable, I don’t think it was the right thing to do. Especially if Nic asked her about it before the marriage. It kind of proves that Ceci doesn’t truly understand the meaning of marriage. I’m a little disappointed myself, let alone Nic. Poor Nic, I’d wish the reporters would give him AND his family a break

well, i guess nic is right…if celicia took picture before they are dating..he cant do anything bout it cuz its her life…but if they are together and she did it and lie to him when he ask her to speak the truth….then that is real messed up…i will defintely support nic for his decision to leave celiica
its natural for nic to get angry and have hatred for her as its a big sin and mistake that she made in the chinese culture. but i think he will forgive her as they have been together for a long time and also he wanted to punch his best friend in the hotel when they met.this shows he loves her
EXACTLY!! If people have actually been paying attention to Nicholas before the scandel broke, they would realize that he hasn’t been wearing his wedding band around his finger in a while because he has to film, so he wears his ring around his neck!
It’s so funny how regardless of how many times Nicholas, Cecilia, or their representatives confrim their relationship, the reporters/papparazzi act as if nothing was said, and completely disregard their statements. I mean look, in the first sentence of this report, it has Nicholas confirming that his relatinship with his wife is unchangeable, yet they go and right garbage anyways. So why must they chase down Nicholas if they’re just going to write what they feel like? I don’t get their mentality at all!!!
Wow this scandal is getting bigger and bigger and look it’s already affected so many people, their families, and their lives. I just can’t believe it’s Nicholas’ turn. He’s such a good guy and trying to be courageous for the family and trying to live with it, but no Cecil is just…that’s too much. All for the sake of their son too. I think Nicholas values family alot, but wow this scandal is going to hit home harder than ever. wow if this is true it’s sad. i guess cecilia knew that she had to lie to get nic back. it’s too bad that she lied to him, even tho she had the relationship with edison when cecilia and nic weren’t together but still she lied…oh well. it’s up to them to see their relationship thru and work thru the hard times. i bet nic probably doesn’t not feel or see cecilia the same anymore…but still loves her and maybe hates her.

Whatever, celebrities’ marriages do not last more than 5 years or even less. Matter of time only, esp. when acting with co-stars normally lead to relationships. Nowadays, it’s so common to see divorces even over the slightest marital problem. Even if they have kids & if they dont love each other anymore & cant find happiness together, no point staying married – just like Nic’s mother, smart of her to remarry a man not from the entertainment industry. Asians are fast catching up with the westerners where couples change spouses like changing clothes. People tend to accept men to be flirtatious but they detest women who have wild sex affairs with different men. Dont they ever worry about catching sex diseases that pass from partner to partner thus endangering their kids as well? Nic is still young, he deserves a better decent girl who is not a celebrity.
