Jamie Spears Manages Britney Spears and Her Boyfriends. Jamie Spears, father of pop star Britney Spears, will continue to be in control of his daughter and her finances. A judge ruled on Wednesday that the elder Spears will remain in control till at least July 31.
According to People.com, Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz extended Jamie Spears temporary conservatorship that was supposed to end on March 10.
On February 1, Goetz named Jamie Spears and Andrew Wallet temporary co-conservators of Britney’s $100 million fortune. They have been allowed to hire bodyguards for the 26-year-old singer and also restrict her visitors.
A source close to the pop star says Britney is fine with her father being in control. She has recently been able to see her children again, Preston 2, and Jayden, 17 months, and has also returned to dancing and working out in a dance studio. (Editting by Alice Wang)
