I know some people may be upset that New York Magazine recreated Marilyn Monroe’s The Last Sitting with Lindsay Lohan, but what is the big deal about one drugged-up airhead acting like another?

Plus it is a lot less disturbing for Lohan to be dressing up like Monroe than 8-year-old Elle Fanning.

The original “The Last Sitting” was shot in 1962 by photographer Bert Stern, it was the last photo shoot of Monroe before she was found dead of an overdose six weeks later. Hopefully Lohan doesn’t end up with the same fate, kind of creepy huh?

Monroe was BEAUTIFUL. So can’t Lohan do anything for herself but be a drug addict? Yes the boobs look fake and her poses look stiff.

Well this is quite pathetic. Those wigs are just so trashy. Even I might look better than Lindsay. Monroe did actually have beauty, but she was was weak and ended up just being a loser. If Lindsay wanted to be a star, she would stand on her own merits, if she has any. Why do women try to emulate past movie stars? You will never be like them, you can’t be them, only they are themselves, and only you can be yourself. Only losers try to be something that they are not, and in the process forsake themselves.

Stars like this don’t have time to find who they are anymore. She has been in movies since she was a little girl and at this point, every move she makes is followed by someone with a camera and put up on TMZ. How do you define who you are when everyone bases their opinion of you off of how you were in the process?

I can`t understand how in a world Bert Stern himself was willing to take this pictures! It´s not Lindsay`s fault, Stern is one to blame. He got a chance to see Monroe in a way she really was at that point of her life, he got a chance to see a Real Person, not just Marilyn. And now, with these cheap and ugly pictures he ruined the whole thing! I used to think Stern was talented, amazing…just wonderfull. My opinion has chanced: he was just LUCKY to get Monroe.

In Lindsay’s defense, if you were offered the opportunity to have your photo taken by Bert Stern because he actually wanted to take your photo, I think you would take that opportunity as well! I am also glad she is comfortable enough with her body to take these untouched photos. For a while there it seemed as if she was on the brink of anorexia, but I think she looks great now! I don’t think she is trying to be Marilyn Monroe. I think she knows exactly who she is, but she is also smart enough (as is Stern) to recognize that there are similarities between her and Monroe.

You negative people should probably go to nymag.com and read the actual article and look at the slideshow of the pictures. First of all, it is quite obvious in some of the pics that her breasts are not fake. The only thing I found unattractive were the amount of freckles she had from too much tanning. Also, I am a photographer and it is a lot of fun to do shoots like this, where you “recreate” other images or simply use them for inspiration.

Yes, her boobs look incredibly fake. If it werent for them, I would have seriously doubted she hit puberty due to serious her lack of curves. As for her skin tone- too many freckles. She should have spent less money on her breasts and more on removing the spots that are consuming her body.

She was a very poor choice of model to do the recreation of monroe’s work. The pictures look unnatural and most definately unimpressive.

I would love to see lindsay lohan naked. OK people… is that all we have to do is critique other people? GEEZ.. let the girl do the photo shoot for whatever her reasons. Why judge? If your telling me if I gave you a million dollars for you to pose and you told me you wouldn’t you are a liar.. and i am quite sure half of you wouldn’t even look half as good as Lohan did. Why are people so fast to judge and cut others down??
