Patrick Tse, the Hong Kong actor feels betrayed by his daughter-in-law Cecilia Cheung, who was among a string of starlets and celebrities whose photos of their sexploits with singer-actor Edison Chen were splashed over the the Net in recent weeks.
It reported that while he sympathised with Cecilia for the humiliation she has suffered, he felt that she has put the marriage of his son Nicholas Tse and her son Lucas’ future in jeopardy.
Quoting a source, the website said the elder Tse is encouraging his son to get a paternity test done soon.
However, at a recent Chinese New Year celebration event, Patrick refused to comment when pressed by the media about his son’s marriage to Cecilia in the wake of the sex scandal.
It has been reported that she and Nicholas have signed a separation agreement. This was denied by Patrick Tse.
Cecilia Cheung was due to become the new face of L’Oreal in a multi-million contract before the scandal exploded, but this may be up in the air now, said reports.
